THE CHIROPRACTIC ADJUSTMENT

Chiropractic philosophy denies not the accomplishments of the other healing arts, but admonishes all healers to be aware of the "Life Force" (nerve impulse) and the role it plays in our body's health, well being, and comprehension of its environment. There absolutely is a Life Force/ Spirit within that makes all things possible in a living, healthy or sick body.

By the nature of the Chiropractic Adjustment we unleash the Life Force within, without detriment to the patient. As Hippocrates stated more than 2000 years ago, "Above all do no harm." The Chiropractic Adjustment removes that which interferes with the "Doctor Within."

Time and opportunity, certainly the opportunity to correct subluxations, should be sought as early as possible after the subluxation lesion has been sustained. All patients must realize that TIME is the necessary ingredient for recovery. In chronic disease syndromes, months and sometimes years of care are needed to produce satisfactory and lasting results. In like conditions, but in unlike individuals, the results differ due to the survival values of the human body.

"EVERYBODY KNOWS THERE IS A CERTAIN MINIMUM VITALITY BEYOND WHICH RECOVERY IS IMPOSSIBLE. BUT NO ONE KNOWS JUST WHERE THAT LINE EXISTS! REMARKABLE RECOVERIES IN MOST ALL MALADIES KNOWN TO MAN HAVE OCCURRED UNDER CHIROPRACTIC CARE, AND THUS WE CAN TRULY SAY CHIROPRACTIC WORKS IN ALL DISEASE, BUT NOT EVERY CASE OF A GIVEN DISEASE SYNDROME." (Paul Smallie, D.C.)

Someone once said:

"THE GREATEST THING ANY LIVING SOUL CAN DO IS TO SEE SOMETHING CLEARLY AND TELL IT PLAINLY."

THE KEY TO SUCCESS

As a student of philosophy I have come to know that success is not an end to be reached but the process of striving to be more. Throughout the history of mankind, successful people have known the value of persistency or what some call perseverance. The following quotations address this important truth:

"Permanence, perseverance and persistence in spite of all obstacles, discouragements and impossibilities: it is this that in all things distinguishes the strong soul from the weak." (Thomas Carlyle )

"Many of life's failures are people who did not realize how close they were to success when they gave up." (Thomas Edison)

"Never, never, never, never give up." (Winston Churchill's famous six word speech to a group of young people)

"They won because they refused to be discouraged by their defeats." (B.C. Forbes/an American publisher)

"The miracle, or the power, that elevates the few is to be found in their industry, application and perseverance under the prompting of a brave, determined spirit." (Mark Twain)

"We are made to persist. That's how we find out who we are." (Tobias Wolff/author)

"Nothing in the world can take the place of persistence. Talent will not; nothing is more common that unsuccessful men with talent. Genius will not; unrewarded genius is almost a proverb. Education will not; the world is full of educated derelicts. Persistence and determination alone are omnipotent." (Calvin Coolidge)

"Neither evil tongues, rash judgements, nor the sneers of selfish men, nor greetings where no kindness is, nor all the dreary intercourse of daily life, shall ever prevail against us." (William Wordsworth/English poet)

"The only thing we have to fear is fear itself." (Franklin D. Roosevelt)

"Genius is divine perseverance. Genius I cannot clain nor even extra brightness, but perseverance all can have. " (Woodrow Willson)

Succeeding: "It's a little like wrestling a gorilla. You don't quit when you're tired; you quit when the gorilla is tired." (Robert Strauss)

LIFE WILL PAY ANY PRICE YOU ASK OF IT!!!
